Delanie Harrmann

So Below Apothecary

Delanie Harrmann is the creator, farmer, and owner of So Below Apothecary. Farming is just one aspect of Delanie's identity and work. She describes herself as a visual artist, storyteller, trained aromatherapist, perfumer, farmer, educator, and amateur chandler. “Farming, for me, is a spiritual practice—to grow and create is to make magic.”

Originally from Illinois, Delanie has found her home in the Northfield area for the last seven years. At Sharing Our Roots, she is growing a variety of annual and native perennial botanicals. Annuals include herbs and medicinals, including tulsi, lemon balm, basil, and sage. Her primary focus is on perennials native to the U.S. and Minnesota. These perennials include elderflower, monarda, anise hyssop, echinacea, mountain mint, and many others. In addition to growing herbs and botanicals, Delanie also forages in local, pesticide-free areas.
