Help us design a shirt that reflects our mission and showcases the power of connecting people to land to build a regenerative future—we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

See your design worn proudly by Sharing Our Roots staff, board, farmers, gardeners, and supporters! The winning design will be selected on November 19 at our Harvest Celebration; attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite design and we will announce the winner at the end of night!
Design Guidelines:
Design - must be for the back of a standard t-shirt.
Theme - submissions should celebrate our mission and reflect our commitment to equity, justice, healing, community, sharing, and biodiversity. Elements like our logo, root system references, or regenerative agriculture/farming imagery are highly encouraged!
Dimensions - if drawing by hand, use a standard 8.5” x 11” sheet in portrait orientation and please fill most of the page. For quality, please scan to submit your photos.
Colors - you may incorporate up to 5 colors, any blank space will print as yellow (PMS 7508C).
Format - designs can be digital or hand-drawn. No AI-generated or AI-edited artwork will be accepted, all submissions must be 100% original.
Submit by Sunday, November 1, 2026. Please submit one design per form, however you may enter multiple submissions. Our design committee will select our top 3 submissions for public voting on November 19. Link to submission form.
Prize - the winning design will win $100 CASH– and be featured on our 2027 t-shirt. You will also receive a free shirt, SOR hat & waterbottle, and social media shoutout to our 5k+ followers!
Timeline:
Contest opens - Thursday, October 1, 2026
Submission due - Sunday, November 1, 2026
Voting - Thursday, November 19, 2026
Voting will take place at our Harvest Celebration in the form of bead voting. Voting closes at 7:45pm and the winner will be announced that night at 8:00pm. The winning design will be announced publicly on social media the following day, new shirts to be available in the new year, 2027!
