End of Year Celebration

  • Sharing Our Roots Farm 4905 315th Street West Northfield, MN, 55057 (map)

Sharing Our Roots is hosting an End of Year Celebration on November 20th from 5:30-7:30pm! Please join us in community at our new packshed at the farm.

Get ready for an evening full of music, delicious food, exciting giveaways, and great company! Join us to celebrate our amazing team and recognize what we have accomplished together. Please extend this invite to your community, family, and friends. Everyone is welcome!

In recognition of our diverse collective of growers, we are honored to share vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes cooked by our Latinx, Kenyan and Sudanese members. If you are concerned about food due to dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring your own food.

We are grateful for the farmers, gardeners, staff, board, funders and supporters that make our mission possible– this night is for you!

While dinner, drinks and dessert will be served, we want to celebrate the spirit of joining in community by making our own twist on the stone soup folktale. Just as the villagers each offered a small gift from their kitchen to create a meal for all, we ask everyone to bring a pre-chopped veggie or fruit to add to our community stone salad. To ensure the comfort and ease of our guests, Sequeerity, a de-escalation team owned and operated by queer and bipoc women, will be on site.

The Sharing Our Roots Farm is located at the following address:

4905 315th Street West

Northfield, MN, 55057

You will see a sign for Sharing Our Roots on 315th Street W, next to the Wasner Barn sign. Please drive to the end of the driveway where you will find parking for the farm. We will gather in the new packshed for our celebration.

Please contact info@sharing-our-roots.org with any questions. We look forward to hosting you on the farm!

P.S. If you can't attend, please consider donating to support emerging farmers, regenerative agriculture, and ecological restoration. Donations of any amount help build community resilience and sustain our cause.
